Henry Vilas Zoo created a Zoo School program that includes virtual school support, science-based inquiry activities, animal encounters, quiet and group reading, and nature exploration. We follow all the COVID-19 recommendations for a fun, safe and supportive experience.
Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of this program and allow us to serve students from underrepresented communities. We are working with MMSD, Madison School and Community Recreation (MSCR), Madison-area Out-of-School Time (MOST), and the Bayview Foundation to identify families with the highest needs.
100% of your donation goes directly into the classroom. We recognize that this unprecedented time has created hardships for families struggling to cover costs, find childcare in order to work, and keep up with educational milestones. Henry Vilas Zoo is committed to doing what we can and would be honored to have your support.
