What is a Virtual Critter Connection Program
We’re excited to add virtual programming to our zoo programs. Our Virtual Critter Connection is a 30 minute virtual education program over Zoom for your group.
After your program date is confirmed, we will provide you with a Zoom link and instructions. On the scheduled day and time, your group members sign in to Zoom through the link to join our educators and Animal Ambassadors, which may include a selection of invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals.
Some animals you may see:
- Ball python
- Red rat snake
- African pygmy hedgehog
- Giant African millipede
- Madagascar hissing cockroach
- Ornate box turtle
Due to the unpredictable nature of live animal programs, we cannot make any guarantees which animals will be available on any particular day.
Pay as You Can
We want our programs to be accessible to everyone. The cost of our program is $30. We ask that you pay what you are able, whether that be a minimum donation of $15, covering the full $30 program fee, or covering your fee, plus someone else’s fee, or whatever amount you are able to pay to help the Zoo!
