Registration for Spring 2024 Pajama Jam programs will open in March.
Join us for an evening only Pajama Jam!
This family-friendly program allows you and your child to spend an evening together exploring the zoo! Join us for a Pajama Jam and see what zoo animals do after the zoo gates close for the day. Enjoy an animal encounter, story time, and a bedtime snack.
Every person attending, child and adult, needs to be registered.
Fall 2023 Pajama Jam Schedule
Saturday, September 16th – Conservation Heroes – Attention future conservation heroes! Unleash your inner animal lover and become a champion for our furry, feathery, and scaly friends! Discover how zoos play a vital role in conservation efforts, from breeding endangered species to supporting research and education programs. Let’s make a difference together, one small action at a time!
Saturday, September 30th – Predators vs Prey – Join us to learn about the incredible adaptations animals have to help them be better hunters, or to help them avoid becoming lunch! Explore the strategies of the stealthy hunters and the clever evaders through up-close encounters with our amazing animal residents. It’s sure to be a thrilling adventure filled with survival secrets.
Friday, October 13th – The Scoop on Poop – If there’s one thing we have plenty of at the zoo… you guessed it! But don’t worry, it’s all part of the fun! Get the scoop as we dive into the fascinating world of animal poop! Discover the secrets behind scat and its importance in the animal kingdom. We’ll explore how it helps scientists learn about animal diets, habits, and health. Prepare for a “poo-sitive” experience!
Saturday, November 4th – Family Night Hike – Embark on an enchanting adventure at the zoo after dark! Discover the hidden habits and hoots of our nocturnal residents and create memories and connect as a family during this special moonlit expedition. Don’t miss out on this tremendous twilight trek!
Times: 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Cost: $25
This program is designed for families with children ages 4-10.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
